WHAT IS IT?
A time to get the Dance Visions Family together. All students, teachers, family & friends are welcome, celebrating another wonderful year of dancing with all you lovely lot! + new friends who want to give it a try!
TOTALLY FREE EVENT! (Bring your children, friends, grandparents and share our love of having dun, socialising, dance and music!)
WHEN IS IT?
Sunday 10th Sept 2023 from 2:30pm onwards - Come and go as you like, we'll be there till the tide comes in!
***Times may adjust slightly nearer to the time, dependent on the tide, but we hope it won't wash us away too early!
Weather permitting too so always keep an eye on our Facebook page and Instagram and emails on the day (check your junk mail too in case you miss it!, but we will only postpone if we really, really, reeeeaaallly have to!***

WHERE CAN WE PARK?
We advise you to look up car parks and times they charge from and til - lots of parking around Folkestone harbour is now permit holders only, so your best bet may be the Harbour Arm car park but please check opening times as this has a paid barrier system.
WHAT'S HAPPENING?
**Music**
We bring a music system to play some tunes for all to boogie too or join in the line ups following teachers if you fancy it!
We love to get you moving!
**Music Jam**
Some people bring their Guitar or instruments and sometimes have a jam session, we even had a violinist one year! So if you fancy doing this, you are very welcome as we love live music too! Singers welcome!
**Dance line-ups & freestyle dancing to some great summer, Latin, Zumba, Afro tunes, plus some well known chart favourites! ;0) **
**Beach Games just for fun - participation completely optional **
In the past years we have played on a huge snakes and ladders board drawn out by Beki in the sand with huge Di to go with it, we have played rounders and many team games which have us rolling around laughing and in stitches, it is super fun for the kids and adults.
We may also play musical towels this year, so if you don't want a sandy towel to lie on the rest of the afternoon , we would advise bringing a spare one you don't mind getting sandy! he he!
**Picnics OR Fish & Chips**
Lots of people bring their own blankets, chairs or towels and a picnic, but there is also a fab fish and chip shop just a 5 minute walk away that we all love to get our seaside treats from too!
**PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CLEAR ANY RUBBISH YOU CREATE AND TAKE IT WITH YOU OR PUT IT IN ONE OF THE SEASIDE BINS WHEN YOU LEAVE!
**Swimming - there is the Sea of course!**
**General laughs and giggles and fun in the sun!**
**Remember your camera!** And please tag us and share any great content you get from the day - maybe we will even give a price to the best photos of the day or most inventive!
Participation in games and dancing is optional but STRONGLY ENCOURAGED!! he he!
or just come and watch and soak up the sun and atmosphere, it's a great day with great people, where we all come together and enjoy socialising, meeting new people and relaxing.
