ADULT CONTEMPORARY DANCE
These classes will focus on the basic principles of the Contemporary dance technique including alignment, articulation, transfer of weight and coordination, and aims to promote an improvement in fitness, strength and flexibility. Students will be encouraged to nurture their individual dance style and explore their personal preferences, developing their technical and creative skills and increasing their overall confidence as a dancer. All abilities are welcome - no previous dance experience is necessary.
‘Flowdance’ - A Contemporary Fusion. A brand new fusion dance style inspired by Contemporary, with elements of Jazz, Commercial and Lyrical.
A great way to have fun, this beautiful and dynamic class incorporates body conditioning, stretching and technique ... And will make you feel both graceful and versatile.
This class will relieve stress from the body and invigorate the mind.
What to wear?
Loose clothing you can move in, bare feet (no socks), Ballet shoes, soft shoes/slippers or Jazz shoes.
